Notes on the deconstruction of the contemporary social being

Abstract

In this text, we focus on a study of the dialectic of backwardness (rich country, poor population), which is so pressing in Brazilian society. We seek to clarify the relationship between the deconstruction of values ​​and a social environment that is highly dependent on external or foreign control. This situation materializes in a scenario of clear internal oppression aimed at meeting external interests or those of a small and selfish elite. Thus, the study of a society such as ours proves to be a complex task and difficult to diagnose. However, this difficulty should not be seen as an impediment, but rather as a clear ethical-social warning to the social beings that compose it. In this text, we will analyze the relationship between the following themes: ideology, backwardness or underdevelopment, social and technological changes, connected to the field of education and work in a society that oscillates between self-determination and dependence. We will focus more on the set of relationships than on their philosophical and/or ethical-social foundations. We will defend the argument that there is a certain ideological opacity when we look at ourselves and that this is a cyclical problem in Brazilian society. This opacity is reflected in the inability to see and understand ourselves as social subjects. And this situation has reinforced an individual and collective state of setbacks and delays in relationships and in the very existence of our society.
